To get everyone up to speed. In 2007, I was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. My thyroid was removed and my life on Synthroid began and I've been cancer free since.
For anyone that's on Synthroid, you know that getting the right dose is a long process. and until they do, you pretty much feel like crap.
For me it was even more difficult because of the cancer, I had to be kept slightly higher. Which put me in a hyperactive state.
At my 6th month check up it was time for the doc to start lowering my dose. So I got a new perscription and got instructions to have blood work in 3 months.
I finally went last week. The doc calls the next day to tell me that all the numbers are exactly where he wants them to be and will recheck them at my appointment in July.
I get off the phone and happily tell John what the doc said. And also made the comment that must be why I've been feeling so good lately.
He tells me "It shows too, you haven't been fussy lately". So I guess I was fussy while they were trying to regulate the dose. It's a good thing I love my hubby.
